DURROW GUN CLUB:
The club held a very successful open season competition and a good days shooting was had by all. This year it was decided to hold the “Landowners Draw” on this night, (a free draw for all landowners who permit us to use their land). The winner was the Holohan family of Watercastle. The club would like to thank all the landowners for their kind permission over the many years. We realise that without this permission we would not exist. We are always looking for new members, especially young members. Shooting may not be for all but it is a good way to see the countryside and keep fit and active. Any enquiries – contact any member of the club.
