CULLOHILL TIDY TOWNS:

Thanks to all who helped with this Saturday’s ‘Clean Up’ – the first one for 2015. A number of projects were discussed and planned at a recent meeting and this weekend’s work gets things started! We are currently working on developing a Community Field which in time will crate a great focus in the village. Also, Laois County Council have provided a number of workshops recently with members of the committee attending. The presentations covered such topics as waste management,  biodiversity, composting and other categories. The Tidy Towns competition at this stage is not just about picking up litter – it encompasses many areas and where possible we hope to incorporate these into our plans. A Cabaret is planned for O’Connells on Easter Saturday night and your support would be greatly appreciated.
