CULLOHILL COMMUNITY CENTRE:
The AGM of Cullohill Community Centre was held recently where a very successful year was reviewed. The Centre continues to host many activities as well as facilitating numerous groupings and clubs. The following summarises some of the details for the year just passed with the same and more planned for the coming year – AED Training, Monster Auction, Circuit Training, Operation Transformation Walks, Handball, Rory O’Connell Food Event, Children’s Movie night, Weekly Card Drives, Bridge evenings, Indoor Soccer League, Palates and Irish Dancing Classes.
Currently, committee members are calling to households collecting memberships. If anyone has been missed on the collection rounds – which can easily happen – a contribution can be given to any committee member. All in the area are thanked for their ongoing support for the centre – either through their contribution to membership or participation in the various activities – or through their support for the annual auction which continues to be a significant fundraiser each year.
