County Board Draw

A huge thank you to all in the community for their great support in the 2016 Laois GAA Clubs Members Draw. Our loyal supporters once again came up trumps with sales up a massive 25% and it is much appreciated. First draw was last Friday night 4th March but unfortunately no winners came the way of the club. Let’s hope for better luck and big money in the remaining three draws.

Presentation Night

Last year’s Division 3 league winning squad will be presented with their medals at a function in The Heritage Resort Clubhouse in Killenard on Saturday 16th April.
Tickets will be on sale in the near future and as there is a strict limit on numbers, please make sure to book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Championship Draws

At the recent Laois GAA championship draws, our intermediate footballers were drawn to play Kilcavan in the first round of the championship while our junior C footballers will host Park/Ratheniska in their first round game.
Courtwood/Emo/The Rock under 21 footballers will play Killeshin Crettyard or St Josephs Barrowhouse while in minor football it will be Stradbally Parish Gaels v Emo Courtwood The Rock.

Underage Football

Well done to the St Pauls under 16’s who made their opening league game a winning one recently with a 5-14 to 1-9 win over The Heath while the Emo Courtwood The Rock minors went down to Ballyroan Abbey Gaels in a high scoring encounter, 6-10 to 5-7.
