Adult music Classes are on Thursdays between 7.30pm and 9.30pm in Heritage House, Abbeyleix. If you are a complete beginner, instruments supported are Tin Whistle, Fiddle, Banjo If you can play your instrument competently, and are interested in learning new traditional Irish tunes in a group, then you are very welcome with any instrument.
Last year there were guitar, banjo, fiddle, tin whistle, flute. This year, we would like to have enough adults and a variety of instruments to make up an adult groupa cheoil (i.e. up to 20 performers). PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR INTEREST ASAP, and your instrument, level of experience. We hope to commence classes, assuming we have sufficient numbers. Fees will be confirmed once numbers are known.
