FRIDAY AUGUST 1st: A cloudy day with scattered outbreaks of light rain and drizzle, however there is a threat of heavier localised bursts of rain also. Highs of only 15c to 17c in a light SW airflow. OVERNIGHT: Any rain will gradually clear though it will remain overcast. Lows of 12c to 14c in a light westerly breeze.
SATURDAY AUGUST 2nd: Overcast at first, perhaps some early morning drizzle or light rain but it should quickly clear and as the day progresses cloud will break up giving some sunny spells at times. Mild with highs reaching 19c to 21c in just a light west to southwest breeze. OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy in a light southwest breeze and lows of 12c to 14c. Dry.
SUNDAY AUGUST 3rd: Generally cloudy, though some sunshine getting through at times, particularly in the afternoon. Mild with highs reaching 18c to 20c in a light south to southwest breeze. OVERNIGHT: Remaining dry, but increasingly cloudy in light to moderate southerly breezes. Lows of 13c to 15c.
OUTLOOK: Bank Holiday Monday – There is uncertainty at present regarding the weather for Bank Holiday Monday as a rain front close to the west coast overnight Sunday night may make progress eastwards across Ireland.
