ST ABBANS OPEN SPORTS.
The St. Abbans 20th Annual Open Sports day took place on the May Bank Holiday Monday and was a competitive and fun-filled day for everyone.
Our Juvenile runners all ran brilliantly on the day. Niamh Mc Donald ran in the u/13 girl and Niamh also qualified for the final of the 100m sprint. Jack mc Mahon got through to the final of the 80m sprint. Sarah mc Mahon ran u/15 100m where she was narrowly beaten for a medal to finish 4th..
U/14 700m
Jessica Brennan ran a great race and won a silver medal supported well by Sarah Delaney who finished 5th also had a good race. Cian McDonald ran well in the u/16 700m and won a bronze medal.
