Coaching will take place on Tuesday night 12th of January in our snooker room at 7.30 p.m. Any junior or senior players who want to take part are to be in the snooker hall Tuesday at 7pm. Adrian McMahon will be there to coach the players.

Mountrath Operation Transformation
Thanks to everyone who came out this week for the Operation Transformation walk/jog. We are going to run it Monday to Friday from 8pm at the church. We’ll do the same route every night as due to the bad lighting within the town we’re quite restricted. Please remember to go at your own pace and do as much or as little of the route as you want. Have a great weekend and see you all Monday night.

Mountrath ‘Blast from the Past’
It’s almost a year ago to the day. Who could forget the performance of the Mountrath Community School hurlers as they got over the challenge of Gorey CS in the Leinster Final of the Leinster Schools Senior hurling ‘B’ Championship on a scoreline of 3:17 to 3:09.
