Rosenallis AFC News

Rosenallis AFC would like to know if parents would be interested in a boot swap programme for our under age teams from U8 – U14. We will have a designated drop off / collection point for anybody who has boots that maybe too small and would like to swap them for a larger size. All boots will need to be in a condition fit for another child to wear. The success of this programme will depend on the buy in from parents. If you would like to see this programme introduced can you either like or leave a comment with any suggestions here.

Clonaslee Hurling Legend

A Player Profile of the incomparable James Young of Laois.

The Clonaslee-St.Manmans’ clubman will go down as one of greatest hurlers to ever come out of the O’Moore County. He would make his inter-county debut in 2000 and play on until 2009 and during that period he regularly clocked up massive scoring returns in almost every game he played. He was nominated for an All-Star in 2007 and was also a regular for the Leinster inter-provincial team. James was, and is, a really top-class hurler over the years and a man who would have gotten onto any County side at his peak. He was Unfortunate that the peak of his hurling years came during a barren period for Laois hurling.
