LEA CASTLE CONSERVATION GROUP

The Lea Castle Conservation Group have engaged Earth Sound Ltd to carry out a geophysical survey of Lea Castle, and work has now begun. This is a very exciting development as the survey will use the most up to date technology to survey the Castle site & reveal what lies buried beneath the surface without the need for excavation. The survey is being funded by the Heritage Council.  The results will be available before the end of the year.

Fundraiser

The Lea Castle committee are holding a Fundraiser in the Community Centre. The event is a Homemade Xmas Floral Arrangement. The event will take place on Tuesday November 10, 17, 24. Also Thursday November 12, 19, 26. Times 8-10pm nightly. Cost is €50 for 3 nights & you will get to bring home 3 arrangements. Greenery & oasis supplied. Bring your own flowers. Bridge Fundraiser
