Lessons for Beginners and Intermediate commenced last Thursday September 28 from 5-6pm & 6-7pm & will continue every Thursday in the former girls school Patrick St (now used by the boys NS). FRIENDS TOGETHER SOCIAL CLUB
Sincere thanks to everyone who supported our recent Fashion Show. Thanks to all the businesses for their spot prizes. Also a big thanks to all the Charity shops who took part on the night. PATH CHARITY DRIVE
A Local Portarlington scout leader and her group are organising a charity drive for the charity PATH to help the Homeless. They are running short of the following items:
Teabags, Coffee, Biscuits, Chocolate, Crisps, male and female toiletries and are looking for donations of these items. If you wish to leave donations you can leave them into the Scouts Den on Main St and they will be collected. The Den is open on Tuesday 7pm -8.15pm. Wednesday 6.30pm to 9pm & Thursday 7pm to 8.30pm. They want to thank you all in advance.

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Madeline Orange (nee Delaney) St Michael’s Park, who passed away on September 23. Madeline was predeceased by her husband Bobby. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Mary & Madeline, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her extended family & friends. Requiem Mass took place on Monday September 25 in St Michael’s Church, with burial after in St Michael’s Cemetery. May Madeline rest in Peace.
