BRAINS OF ARLINGTON TABLE QUIZ
Arlington AFC are hoping to crown “the brains of Arlington” on Friday August 18 at 9pm in the Barrow lodge. Table quiz is €10 per head, 4 per table, video round will be included. All are welcome so please come out and support your local football club.
FAMILY FUN WALK 2017
Join McGreals Pharmacy & Laois Sports Partnership on their Family Fun Walk on Sunday September 17 in aid of Portarlington Meals on Wheels. The event will start & finish at Emo Community GAA Centre. Registration from 12pm, starting at 12.30pm.

Upcoming fundraisser for Meals on Wheels
The 5km route will take you along a scenic route near Emo Court House. Donations can be made in your local McGreals Pharmacy or on the day to support Portarlington Meals on Wheels. Free Fun Day out for all the Family.
PCDA LITTLE BLACK DRESS NIGHT 2017
Once again the PCDA are holding their Little Black Dress night on Friday September 29 in O’ Dea’s Pub Main St. Tickets €10 available from the LOVE PORT/PCDA office in the Portarlignton Community Centre. All proceeds go to the ongoing projects by the PCDA.

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Paddy Connolly Doolagh, who passed away on Tuesday August 8. Paddy will be sadly missed by his brother Tommy, sisters Una, Margaret & Ann, nieces, nephews, his extended family & friends. Paddy was an ex-employee of the E.S.B. Requiem Mass took place in St John’s Church Killenard on Friday August 11, with burial after in the adjoining Cemetery. May Paddy rest in Peace.
