COMMUNITY TEXT ALERT SERVICE:

The Portarlington Community Development Association in conjunction with An Garda Síochána and Muinter Na tire are currently working on setting up a TEXT ALERT SERVICE for the parts of the town of Portarlington and surrounding areas that don’t have this system in place.
The COMMUNITY TEXT ALERT SERVICE has proven a great asset in addressing the issues of community care, community safety and community crime prevention.

In order for us to achieve this we need members of our community to get involved. If your area or estate has a residence association or a community alert committee, we need your help. If you don’t have this but you think the Text Alert Service is something for your area, we need your help too.
If you would like to help make our town a safer place to live in please get in contact with us. We are situated in the PCDA/LovePort office, The Community Centre, Link Road. You can call us on 085 8568801 between 9.30am and 5.00pm or email us on info@portarlington.ie or just message us on our Facebook page Loveport.
