Thanks
The Committee of Portarlington Social Services/Meals on Wheels would like to thank everyone who gave so generously to their recent flag days. Thanks to all who helped with collecting & thanks as usual to Centra Main St & Supervalu for allowing us to collect on their premises.
In the year 2015, we delivered 5,403 meals. It cost €50,000 to run the Centre for the year 2015.
This service could not continue without the valued support of both the Community Employment workers and our volunteers. Also to the HSE for funding we receive towards the running of our Centre.
