Portarlington Friends Together meets every Tuesday & Friday in Portarlington Community Centre from 2.30-5pm. Deepest Sympathy to Chrissy Smith & family Ballymorris on the recent death of her sister Alice O’Toole (nee Byrne) Killiney, Dublin & formerly the Borness Mountmellick. Daughter of the late Daniel & Elizabeth Byrne. Alice is survived by her husband Oliver, sons Michael & Brian, daughters Clodagh & Aoibhinn, sisters Teresa (England) , Chrissy (Portarlington) & brother Danny Byrne, the Borness, her extended family & friends. Requiem Mass took place on Monday June 13 in the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel Killiney, with burial after in Shanganagh Cemetery. May Alice rest in Peace.

The Parents Council of Coláiste Íosagáin are holding a Second-hand Uniform sale in the school on Saturday  June 25 from 11am – 1pm. Parents can drop unwanted school uniform items into the school on Friday June 24 after 10am. All items appreciated.
