Bingo

Portarlington Social Services will resume their weekly Bingo on Wednesday September 9 @ 8.30 in the Centre Link Rd.  Looking forward to seeing all our regulars & new people as well.

It’s Bingo time!

Friday Cuppa-Our Friday cuppa will resume in the Social Services Centre on Friday September 11 from 12pm to 3pm. Come along and have lunch & a chat, a sing song or a game of Bingo & get to meet up with friends & meet new people. For more information contact Ann (Bourke) Dunne @ 087-4116101.

Portarlington Bridge Club

The new Season starts on Wednesday September 16 @ 7.45pm in Garryhinch Golf Club.

Dancing

Dancing continues every Monday night in The Gandon Inn, till midnight in aid of Portarlington St V de Paul. Sept 14-Unity. Sept 21-John & Terry. Sept 28-Dermot Lyons. Come along for a great night out.  Admission €7.  All welcome.

Coffee Morning

Laois Hospice Coffee morning takes place on Thursday September 17. If anyone would like to host a Coffee Morning, it doesn’t matter how big or small, please contact Ann on 087-6270988 for details.

Farmers Market

Emo House Farmers Market & Craft Fair – Every Sunday 10.30am – 4.30pm. Located in Emo Village.  Come and browse the stalls where local crafts are showcased, and you can buy your fresh food from local suppliers. Live music and entertainment.

School Reunion

To mark 20 years since leaving school, a reunion of the class of 1995 from both Scoil Mhuire and St. Joseph’s C.B.S Portarlington will be held in The Anvil Inn on Friday September 11 from 9pm till late. We hope to see you all there for what’s sure to be a great night.
