Dancing
Dancing continues every Monday night in The Gandon Inn, from 9.30pm to 11.30pm in aid of Portarlington St V de Paul. April 4-J & S Sound. Come along for a great night out. Admission €7. All welcome.

St Patrick’s Day
A big well done to the Parade committee for putting on a wonderful parade this year. Large crowds filled the streets. Also a big well done to everyone who took part. From young & old a great effort went in to floats, costumes etc. Also to the shops who put in their window displays.
Thanks to all who organised, participated in & supported another great Paddy’s Day parade!
Sympathy
Deepest Sympathy to the family of Margaret Slattery (nee Byrne) St Brigid’s Sq & formerly Plewman’s Tce, Athy who passed away on March 21. Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband Willie. She will be sadly missed by her devoted family, sons Willie & Jason, daughters Susan, Leslie, Catherine & Glenda, her sister Eithne, grandchildren, great-grandchild, her extended family, neighbours & friends. Requiem Mass took place on Wednesday March 23 in St Michael’s Church, with burial after in St Michael’s Cemetery. May Margaret rest in Peace.
Portarlington Lawn Tennis Club
Senior Tennis- The AGM will be held on Thursday April 7 at 9pm in the clubhouse. All Adult members and parents of Junior members are invited to attend. Coaching with Tony resumes on Tuesday 5th April.

Junior Tennis- Introduce your young child to Tennis. Club Membership is not required for Tony Lok’s 3.15pm Beginner coaching classes. Tuesday’s class is for children 4 to 6 yrs. Friday’s class is for children 5 to 7 yrs. Ring 087- 1231135 if interested. Class numbers are limited to 8 children. Still a few places left in the later classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Lip Sync Challenge
Portarlington RFC are holding a fundraising night on Friday April 1 at the Heritage Hotel, Killenard, Co. Laois. The night will consist of 12 acts based upon the popular TV show “Lip Sync challenge” with a disco afterward. Tickets are €15 available from Portarlington Pharmacy, The Wine Buff, Clown Around or any committee member. Great night guaranteed!

Easter GAA Camp
This camp will be running in McCann Park from Tuesday March 29 until Friday April 1 from 10am until 2pm every day. The cost is €20 per child. Registration is 9.30am on the 29.There will be male and female coaches provided for the boys and girls aged 7-12years old in this camp.
