MEALS ON WHEELS
Portarlington Meals on Wheels have had a busy year, with up to 10,000 meals expected to be cooked & delivered by the end of this year. The Committee are so thankful to all who help in any way to keep the Service going so strong still, after 48 years.
The people who receive the meals are recommended by their Doctor or Primary Care nurses. The meals are delivered 3 days a week, with a donation for the meals made weekly by the recipients. The committee are so thankful to all the clubs, individuals & HSE who are generous with their donations. Stay safe everyone.
SANTA’S HELPERS
Last Christmas Santa’s Helpers through professionals and community activists reached 160 families in Laois. Every child deserves to be happy.
This Christmas we hope to reach over 100 families in County Laois where we assist Santa in bringing some joy in what is a very difficult year.
If you can help us please donate to this link here or contact us.
All donators are entered into our draw for some amazing prizes.
