WELL DONE
A big well done to the staff at Adrian Dunne’s Pharmacy who got cycling last Thursday to raise money for the “Build it for Andy” fundraiser. A big well done to all who donated on the day. This fundraiser is dedicated to raising funds and sourcing donations of materials and labour, so that a home can be built for Andrea and her Partner & children. Andrea suffered life changing injuries due to Meningitis in February 2020.

The Heath Golf Club are holding a Charity Golf Classic in aid of the Cuisle Centre and Laois Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland on next Friday September 25.

SYMPATHY
Deepest Sympathy to the family of Eileen Fingleton (nee Nee), Shandra Lane, Portarlingtn & formerly Kilcormac, Co. Offaly who passed away on Saturday September 12. Eileen will be sadly missed by her loving husband Andrew, daughters Carol & Emma, brothers Coleman & Martin, sisters Mary, Bridget & Ann, her aunt Maureen, extended family, neighbours & friends. Requiem Mass took place on Tuesday September 15 in St Michael’s Church, Portarlington, with burial in St Michael’s Cemetery. May Eileen rest in Peace.
