ANNUAL DOG WALK

The annual dog walk will take place in Emo Court Demense on Sunday August 30 from 11am-1.30pm.

 

YOUTH SCHEME

Laois County Council has launched a Youth Volunteers scheme, which is aimed at 18-25-year olds, to encourage them to volunteer with a local community group. If interested, groups or volunteers should register with Laois Volunteering Information Services here.

Great news that we are already 3/4 of the way to the target needed to complete this home. Thank you so much to each and every donor, share and like with a massive shout out to all the volunteers to date. Without you all we wouldn’t even be this far ahead.

BURSARY AWARDS

Portarlington Credit Union are delighted to be in a position to launch their Third Level Bursary Awards for 2020.

They will be selecting 3 winners that are members of Portarlington Credit Union to win €,1000 each.

Entrants must-Be First Time College Entrants. Be Full Time 3rd Level students.

The Golf Classic scheduled to take place on August 14 has unfortunately been postponed due to the current lockdown. It has been rescheduled to take place on Friday August 28. The same tee times will apply. Please contact Kieran or Dermot if you need to amend tee times etc.

The Seller’s prize was Liz Waldron. Hence Liz receives €50 and Michael receives €25. Next draw will have the Jackpot remain at €10,000.
