WELCOME HOME DENISE
The people of Portarlington & Bracknagh were over the moon to hear that Denise Geoghegan has finally come home to her family after going through a heart transplant & spending 8 months in hospital. We wish her well on her recovery & her family are overjoyed to have her home safe & well. Best wishes Denise.

ROAD CLOSURE
Ballymorris Road in Portarlington will be closed until August 21 from the Railway Bridge to the Ballymorris Road / Canal Road Crossroads to facilitate roadworks at the new social housing development. Local access only will be permitted. Please follow the diversion signs.

SYMPATHY
Deepest Sympathy to the family of Eamonn Hart, Geashill & formerly Walkinstown, Dublin who passed away on Saturday August 7 at his home. Eamonn was predeceased by his beloved sister Colette & her son Robert. Eamonn will be sadly missed by his loving wife Thelma (nee Grehan) formerly Shandra, sons Andrew & Ronan, brother Declan, sisters Irene & Carmel, mother in law Betty Grehan, extended family, neighbours & friends. Requiem Mass took place on Tuesday August 11 at St Michael’s Church Portarlington, with Cremation service at Newlands Cross Crematorium. May Eamonn rest in Peace.

The Golf Classic scheduled to take place last Friday August 14 has unfortunately been postponed due to the current lockdown. It has been rescheduled to take place on Friday August 28th. The same tee times will apply. Please contact Kieran or Dermot if you need to amend tee times etc.
