PRESENTATION PRIMARY SCHOOL

It was the end of an era for boys in the Presentation Primary school recently. The last full class of boys left the school for the last time since the Presentation school in Portarlington opened in 1854. They collected their belongings and their mementos from their teachers and said goodbye. These boys and those before them have brought so much to the school over the years. They are wished the very best in their new school, St Patrick’s BNS.

GRADUATION

A big day took place recently at the Presentation Primary school when three fantastic 6th class groups graduated. We wish all the girls the very best in the next journey of their education.

A gofundme page has been set up to help purchase some badly needed equipment for the volunteers who look after Derryounce. The upkeep of Derryounce is carried out by a dedicated team of volunteers who often use their own equipment.

It is used by a wide variety of people, including walkers, anglers, naturalists, photographers and people who want to experience its peace and tranquillity. Your donation would be much appreciated.
