PORTARLINGTON CONCERT BAND
The Portarlington Concert Band are keen to increase their numbers for boys & girls aged 9 years & upwards. Classes take place every Thursday between 4.30 & 6.30pm. Bingo continues every Tuesday night at 8.30pm in the Port GAA Centre. Prize money given out each week is over €2,200

Dancing in Aid of Portarlington St Vincent de Paul continues every Monday night in the Gandon Inn Hotel & Restaurant. Monday night dancing on March 12- with dancing to Solitaire. Admission €8. Dancing 9.30pm to 12. A great night assured.

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Paul Maher, Ballymorris Manor & formerly the Hermitage Ballybrittas who passed away on Sunday February 25. Paul was predeceased by his parents Tommy & Elizabeth Maher. Sadly missed by his son Adrian, daughters Lianne & Katie & their mam Caroline, his 5 grandchildren, partner Denise & her daughter Cleo, sister Sadie & brother John, also Deborah & Derek, extended family & friends. Requiem Mass took place on Wednesday February 28 at St John’s Church Killenard, with burial after in the adjoining Cemetery. May Paul rest in Peace.
