PCDA FUNDRAISING TABLE QUIZ
The Portarlington Community Development Association/ Love Port office are holding a fundraising Table Quiz in the Hawthorn Bar Portarlington on Friday March 9 @ 8.30pm. All monies raised on the night will go towards the support of our ongoing local projects. The biggest project at the moment is the Derryounce walks & lakes.
Please come out and support us on the night. Cost- €40 per table with 4 to a table.

Dancing in Aid of Portarlington St Vincent de Paul continues every Monday night in the Gandon Inn Hotel & Restaurant. Monday night dancing on February 26- with dancing to Unity. Admission €8. Dancing 9.30pm to 12. A great night assured.

The Social Services bingo has returned. In the Centre Link Rd. It will continue every Wednesday night at 8.30pm. Looking forward to seeing all our regular bingo players & we welcome new players to join us.
ANNUAL CHARITY EVENT
St. Michaels Athletic Club are holding the Heritage 5K run on Sunday March 4 at the Heritage Killenard at 11 am. Register from 9.30 am at the Health centre. Race Entry €10. Charity Event in aid of Portarlington Senior Citizens.

Laois Public Participation Network are holding a Funding & Resources Event for all Community Groups in Laois, on February 27 from 5.30 – 8.00pm in Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise. This will be an exhibition style event with different organisations providing information on grants/funding opportunities, training, insurance, advertising.
