Christmas Fair
Portarlington Community Centre are holding their Christmas Fair on Sunday November 29, from 12 until 5 pm. €30 for table and we are currently taking bookings directly in the Centres Office, with a €15 booking deposit required to secure table. Variety of crafts on sale. Visit Santas grotto, have a coffee in Mrs Claus cafe, facepainter and entertainment. Free admission. Afternoon dancing In aid of Portarlington Senior citizens Annual party takes place on Sunday November 22. From 3-6 pm in the Portarlington Community Centre. Music by – J & L Sound. Refreshments served. Admission €5. All welcome.
Christmas Extravaganza
The 3rd Annual Christmas Extravaganza takes place in the Heritage Hotel Killenard on Sunday December 13th @ 8pm. Mulled wine reception takes place from 7pm. Many artists will perform on the night. The highlight of the night is always our wonderful St Michael’s Choir under the direction of Dr Larry Fullam. Tickets can be bought in the Love Port office in the Community Centre or you can contact Ann Dunne @ 087-4116101 or Lillian Shiels @ 087-2213591. Proceeds to Portarlington Meals on Wheels & the Portarlington Community Development Association. A wonderful night is assured.

2016 Calendar has been launched by Portarlington Tidy Towns. The calendar contains pictures taken by Con Murphy Photographer of various places around Portarlington. It is on sale in Fletchers, Whelehans/Central Stores, Main St. / Supervalu and is priced at €5. All money raised goes back into Portarlington Tidy Towns. It would be a great gift for family, friends and anyone who is living away.

The St Vincent de Paul Charity shop Main St is always appreciative of your support. Your donations to the shop are always welcome. The goods we take are Ladies, Men & Childrens clothing & shoes. Curtains, toys, books & furniture etc. All money raised goes back in to the Community.
A large amount of new Clothes with labels has been donated to us. These items will go on Sale from Tuesday November 24 to November 27. Also we have a raffle for many hampers. Raffle tickets available now at €1 a strip. Raffle will take place for Christmas. Tickets available in the Shop.
