Rain clearing on Monday morning to leave a day of sunshine and scattered showers, heaviest in the northwest. Feeling fresher in northwesterly winds.
Dry and bright weather generally on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure builds in across the country from the west. Some showers are possible on Tuesday in the northwest but elsewhere this period will be dry.
Temperatures below average initially but recovering towards more normal temperatures by Thursday.
Rain spreading from the southwest on Friday as winds freshen also. Becoming milder too with a risk of blight conditions in some areas.
Generally unsettled weather is expected for the August Bank Holiday weekend, at least based off the most recent weather models. Temperatures generally below average.
